Seminar on Decree-Law 36/2025 on Italian Citizenship

On February 6th, Patrimonio Italiano participated in Rome at the Seminar on Decree-Law 36/2025, held at the Consiglio Nazionale Forense, the institutional heart of Italian law. The event brought together renowned professors of Constitutional Law, judges, jurists, and academics from some of Italy’s leading universities for an in-depth and technical analysis of the Italian citizenship reform, a topic that directly impacts millions of descendants of Italians worldwide.

The seminar addressed key topics such as the right to Italian citizenship as a fundamental right, the constitutional limits of restrictive reforms, the compatibility of the decree with the principles of the Italian Constitution and European law, and potential judicial scenarios before the Constitutional Court. During the event, a legal e-book was also presented, reinforcing the high level of the debate. Patrimonio Italiano participation in this seminar reaffirms our commitment to defending our roots, providing accurate legal information, protecting the rights of Italians abroad, and building a strong bridge between Italy and its children around the world.

We remain attentive and active, because the future of Italian citizenship is built with knowledge, participation, and institutional responsibility.
